Susan Bratton
Susan Bratton is co-founder of an affiliate network, a green Web hosting company, an ecommerce
publishing site and a podcast network. Based in California, she is consistently recognised as a digital
marketing expert sitting on the boards of a number of technology companies, as well as the board of the
Silicon Valley American Marketing Association. Susan is also Chair Emeritus of ad:tech globally.
Susan’s popular weekly show “DishyMix” has been on air for 6 years, interviewing fascinating media
& internet executives including Seth Godin, Shawn Collins and Bruce Clay.
A courageous leader, she has managed a 200+ team as SVP Sales and Marketing at Excite@Home,
responsible for more than $100 million in revenue.
Susan has also received a number of digital media industry awards. AdAge magazine recognized Susan
twice – first as a “Digital Media Master” and as one of the “10 Internet Pioneers.” The Business Journal
also named her in their “2009 Women of Influence” in Silicon Valley.
Jeremy Same
Jeremy left ANZ Investment Bank in late 2003 to form accommodation services
provider Living Corporate with school friend and business partner Adam Schwab.
Living Corporate manages over 50 boutique serviced apartments in the Melbourne CBD.
In early 2010 Same founded Zoupon (now Deals.com.au), also with Schwab, which
has grown to over 500,000 members across Australia, and is on track for over
$20m gross revenue this financial year.
Jonathan Barousch
Jonathan is a successful Australian e-entrepreneur who founded one of Australia’s first ecommerce
businesses in 1999. He built Fastflowers.com.au into one of Australia’s leading
floral chains with high level alliances with Myer, Telstra, Westpac among others as well as
many of the globe’s leading e-tailers. Fastflowers was acquired by Jack Singleton's 1300
Flowers in October 2010.
Jonathan is currently the founder and CEO of location based service
Roamz which is launching later this year. Roamz is a joint venture with listed media and communications
company Salmat (ASX:SLM).
Rick Merten
Rick is founder and Managing Director of Sydney-based agency Permission Communications.
Permission opened its doors in 2000 as Australia's first full-service email marketing agency.
It engages audiences through a number of online channels for its clients,
including affiliate marketing.
Today Permission has an impressive stable of clients including Masterfoods, Ingham, Foxtel, Coca-Cola, Sony, Esprit and many more.
Dave Roberts
Dave and his business partner run the affiliate and internet marketing business
South West eCommerce, based in Bunbury, WA.
Dave was convinced some time ago that there is money to be made in the internet,
but lacked the necessary training in programming or marketing to make it big.
Using the time-honoured method of doing everything wrong for long enough,
and then improving the operation one piece at a time, he has taken the long way around to success.
Dave has put alot of sweat into South West eCommerce, and now believes it's reached the point where
he'll get to take his kids skiing and spend more time doing stupid things on a motor bike.
Fred Schebesta
Fred is an internet marketing rockstar at Hive Empire. With his rock band looks and internet marketing skills
he likes to combine both with a spinning of The Artic Monkeys.
Hive Empire runs financial comparison sites including CreditCardFinder.com.au,
SavingsAccountFinder.com.au and HomeLoanFinder.com.au which combine to
generate thousands of customers for the banks every year.
Fred previously headed up online marketing agency Freestyle Media which he sold to the ASX listed Q Ltd. group of companies.
James Kitchener
Over the last 5 years James has built and managed a number of highly profitable Australian
and International email databases & online communities with 100,000 members.

Costantino Marotta
Costantino is Head of Social Media Strategies at digital agency Blackglass.

Simon Robinson
After cutting his teeth in sales & marketing within the wine industry for approx 15 years Simon transitioned into the online space as GM and sole employee of an online wine auction site in 2005.
With zero awareness of online marketing or commerce, little understanding of how eDM campaigns work and having never heard of things called SEO and affiliate marketing it was more a coincidence that the site grew and was acquired by a bricks and mortar auction house.
In his next online venture Simon had skin in the game after raising funds to take on SEEK.com.au. JXT Consulting now powers hundreds of job boards and recruitment agency sites.
